Homeowners or people looking to buy a house have the chance to take advantage of some of the lowest mortgage rates in history.

But because of the different factors that banks and other lending institutions take into consideration, these rates may be out of reach to many people.
The mortgage giant Freddie Mac said Thursday the average rate on the typical 30-year fixed-rate mortgage was 3.98 percent, down from 4.74 percent a year ago.
Fifteen-year fixed rate mortgages averaged 3.24 percent, down from 4.05 percent the previous year.
The rates may be having an effect on the overall housing market. The National Association of Realtors…

Atlantic City's newly approved Tourism District Master Plan
ATLANTIC CITY — After a decades-long absence, the internationally known diving horse act will return to the Steel Pier this summer as part of an overhaul approved for a Casino Reinvestment Development Authority loan Wednesday by the agency’s board — moments after the Tourism District Master Plan was adopted.
The CRDA’s $6 million contribution to the $20 million first phase of the Steel Pier improvement project is a prime example of what the Master Plan is intended to help accomplish in Atlantic City: economic recovery and realized potential by playing up — and improving on — its existing attributes and using government support to leverage private investment in the city.

Geoff Rosenberger has a new post on his Atlantic City real estate news blog about our project at 101 Boardwalk. His post is titled, The View — Atlantic City's Inlet section ready for a rebound? He presents some interesting background on both the building and the Inlet section of Atlantic City.
Some interesting history from his article, "...now called The View, the building was constructed by the Army Corps of Engineers between the years of 1959 to 1962. Shaped like a half circle, the idea was to deflect hurricane-strength winds in its’ curve and turn them back to sea.
